S. G. Munemune hails from Foropa town in Bassan Clan, Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, he was born on the 25th of September in Foropa, as 6th son of Mr Gbasele but the only Son of Mrs Jemima, with other male and female siblings.

S.G. Munemune began his academic career in Foropa Bayelsa state. S. G. Munemune attended Community secondary school in Foropa where he completed his secondary education in the year 2012.

S.G Munemune holds a Bachelor of Science (BS.c) degree in Political Science from the very prestigious Niger Delta University, WILBERFORCE Island, Amassoma, Bayelsa state, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the prestigious Gregory University, Uturu, Abia State, a (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School.

S.G Munemune is a legal practitioner called to the bar with years of experience and vast work experience, currently occupying the position of the Secretary of the Management Board, Abila Syl & Associates.

S.G. Munemune has held several leadership positions in both religious and student leadership circles, notable amongst which is his service as the President of the Student Union Government at the Gregory University Uturu, abia State in his undergraduate day.
